OVERVIEW

There is no better way to capture Italy than to immerse in its rich history. This retreat is designed for those who have

a love of the arts and movement. Practicing yoga in this incredible landscape gives the participant the peace of mind of the countryside and the energy to explore and learn from it. Guests can try their hand at art or photography projects throughout their stay. We collaborate with Estate owner, Julian Hyzler who brings a wealth of knowledge in the arts and history of the area.

It is not necessary to be experienced in Art or Yoga to join. Just a love of both with the curiosity to learn.
The Villa

Prepare to be swept away from this stunning hilltop location that overlooks the countryside of Tuscany & Umbria. The Estate offers views of rolling hills, cypress trees, and picturesque farmlands as far as the eye can see. The Villa is a beautifully restored cantina and stables that has been divided in 2 apartments. Each area has been made into different sized accommodations that include private baths and linens. The details of decor are works of art and add to the rustic and charming experience of your stay.

Open and spacious studios are attached to the main villa. For those wishing to take part in various art projects and classes, you'll find all your materials accessible on site. Morning yoga classes are practiced in a cozy setting that has an incredible view of the Tuscan rolling hills. Guests dine together in a family style lounge area that serves as a meeting place with an ambient setting .

The owner and host of the Estate, Julian, welcomes you with open arms. On sight, he and his team will be of service to ensure your stay is comfortable and to answer any questions about the area. Julian is a wonderful story teller and brings character and wit during the day trips to local towns and museums. He is versatile as an art & history teacher and can easily accommodate all levels of experience.

Cuisine
Yoga with Mindy

It is natural that food and Italy go together. The mouth watering dishes are so memorable that it stays with you for a lifetime. On the retreat, all breakfasts, dinners and selected lunches at the Villa are vegetarian, simple and healthy Italian dishes. Using fresh produce and local wine from the nearby Tuscan & Umbrian towns, guests will savor the quality of dishes like risotto with porcini mushrooms and homemade pasta.

Each day throughout the retreat, begins with an active yoga practice to prepare the body and mind for a day of exploring and enhancing your artistic endeavors. The advantage of participating in a small group gives Mindy an opportunity to cater to individual needs. The classes will be designed to compliment the practitioners level of ability. Selected evening sessions will be more therapeutic working with Yin, restorative postures and lying down guided meditations.

It is easy to become inspired through Tuscany's majestic landscapes. There is an art studio onsite where participants are welcome to indulge with using different mediums from watercolors to photography. All courses taught are designed for all levels of experience.
